i am going big on larios minus 500 and big on the under 11.5 at plus 155. feel larios is close to a lock not so sure on the under because wayne always could take punishent but think at this point he can't anymore or if he can he wont want to.

I played Larios at -330 when it hit the board, and have a few pending parlays riding on him, so I'm on him big also.

...

you can get better than -500 even now. That fight opened -300 at pinnacle and jumped up extremely fast. Even so, you could get better than -500 and the under is an EXTREMELY risky play. Unless McCullough's corner stops the fight, he is 1 of the toughest fighters I have ever seen.

we`re all on mr. larios substantially(parlays for me).....lets hope his struggles with the weight aren`t enough to queer the deal.....

if mccullough wins....after all the inactivity...and all the "oponents" over the last few years,so be it.....with larios being active and on a roll, then i`ll take my lumps and move on....

if there`s some of the "prime" wayne left, there will be a very high work rate....not much power....but sustained action...pete rose vs wade boggs.....lol

g.l. to us..

i screwed up on the under. i heard the whispers that larios was taking this as a tune up fight and not in his best shape but thought all the years had taken enough out of mccullough for larios to get him out anyway. oh well i came out about even.

i thought mccullough fought his ass off.....the guy was right there through 9....took some hellacious body shots...larios` youth pulled him through as he pulled away in the 9th,10th and 11th....the 12th was close....

i had larios by 2 or 3 points..more like 2..i thought the cards were a travesty....and i had larios....

mccullough did himself proud....made me very uncomfortable for awhile....he may just be to tough for his own good...

what i neglected to take into account was mccullough`s tight, relatively straight shots....when he was on top of larios, larios couldn`t get off...larios punches way to wide....needs to much room...throws lots of long punches...

that was a very tough fight....congrats to wayne...if you have to retire on a loss, that was a loss he can be proud to take....he fought like a champ...

i was definitely sweating through 9...

I hear ya!

I was watching the fight at the bowling alley and pretty much cost my team the second game as I couldn't take my eyes off the screen. Wayne fought hard for the first 8 and I actually liked my play on the over more than I liked Larios going into the 9th. Larios was clearly the better fighter but wayne gave him all he could handle. I think Larios was off his game tonight to be honest. The rumors of him having trouble making weight seemed right on and the recently announced fight with Guzman had to be a distraction.

Either way it was a nice double and a huge night

Thanks Wayne for a great fight!

i think we watched 2 different fights,lol......it was nip and tuck through 8 and you could argue about the 12th...you only gave mccullough 2 rounds?

i thought most rounds through the 8th were very iffy...i gave larios the 9th-11th comfortably....

that means you gave larios 6 of the first 8 and the 12th?....

you`re a tough man,hilo...

although,i`m very happy it went oscar`s way...my butt would have been pretty sore had it gone the other way...

just my opinion but mccullough fought the typical come forward throw lots of punches with not much on them. this type of fight looks good to the untrained eye. if i remember right this looked a lot like the zaragosa fight. mccoulagh looked good coming forward and letting them go but the substance is with the other guy. but then again i never bother scoring fights while i watch cause what do i know so better to just let the chips fall where they may when the judges give decision.

two other fights i was in the minority in. i thought azumah nelson won a close fight against fenech and i thought carlos de leon beat dwight braxton. oh yeah i thought mercer beat larry holmes.
